Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to be Jewish?

While our roots are grounded in a Jewish ethos, Kadimah Preschool celebrates diversity and welcomes children and families from all cultural backgrounds.

What are the opening hours?

The Preschool is open 8:00 – 4:30 Monday to Friday

Does my child need to be toilet trained?

Yes, children need to be toilet trained or close to it when starting at Kadimah Preschool. We understand that accidents happen, so please ensure they have a change of clothes in their bag.

What are the food guidelines?

Children bring their own lunch box and drink bottles.

To respect the kosher status of our site we ask that all food is vegetarian.

How is transition to school facilitated?

We have close ties with Kadimah School which is on the same site. During their last term at Preschool, children have regular visits to the New Entrants classroom

This, together with the many other shared activities during their time in Preschool makes the transition to school a settled and familiar process for young children.
