Meet Heidi
Senior Preschool Teacher
I am passionate about the importance and long term benefits of quality early education for children and our wider community. I have worked with children in the Kadimah School community since 1999 and specifically in the Preschool since 2003. Along with this practical background, I completed my academic qualifications in 2009 and upgraded these in 2017. I value collaborative learning and believe in celebrating the uniqueness that each child and their family bring to the community. I feel privileged to be a part of “tending to the seeds” and find it rewarding to see the children blossom.

I’m an educator with a history of over 10 years in primary school. My teaching philosophy is all about making learning an unforgettable adventure. Every day is a journey of excitement and discovery, from exploring the mysteries of numbers and letters to wonders of art and storytelling. Together we embark on a thrilling learning experience that’s both engaging and exhilarating. I’m passionate about nurturing young confident, eager learners. I believe that lifelong love of learning. My mission is filled with laughter, exploration, and a sense of wonder.
Meet Genevieve
Preschool Teacher
I believe Kadimah Preschool is an environment where fun and learning go hand in hand. Children are nurtured in order to feel safe to share their ideas and learn from their peers and teachers. It is a place where friendships emerge and the seeds of becoming lifelong learners are sown. I am delighted to be part of a team of teachers who are passionate in creating this environment for your children. I am a Primary trained teacher and have experience as a parent/educator in Playcentre. I have two children who have both graduated from Kadimah Preschool.
Meet Vicki
Music Teacher
“I am passionate about starting music education experiences early. I began my musical studies a the age of 4 beginning with piano and adding ukulele, violin, piano accordian, guitar, and voice. I teach Jewish music at Kadimah School, train a men’s choir, sing in a small Capella chamber choir and have taught at the Yamaha Music School. My own children attended Kadimah Preschool and I now have five grandsons. I have been teaching the Preschool children for over 6 years and it is the highlight of my week.
